Special Weather Statement issued May 11 at 4:22AM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY Areas of dense fog especially in valley locations will continue this morning. Visibility may be less than one-half of a mile at times resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Motorists may encounter fluctuating visibilities ranging from good to poor over short distances. If driving, slow down, use the low beam setting on headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. The fog is expected to dissipate by 8 AM.
