These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm northeast of New Haven Harbor to near Westhampton Beach to 24 nm east of Buoy 44025, moving east at 25 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near... Central Long Island Sound, Great Peconic Bay, Mattituck Inlet, Shinnecock Bay, Shinnecock Inlet, Falkner Island, and Madison Reef around 1205 PM EDT. Horton Point, Little Peconic Bay, and Six Mile Reef around 1210 PM EDT. Shelter Island Sound and Westbrook Center around 1220 PM EDT.
