Special Weather Statement issued May 14 at 6:23AM EDT by NWS Upton NY Patchy dense fog is being observed in parts of the area and will remain before 8am. Motorists should be prepared for rapid changes in visibility while driving in these areas early this morning. Visibilities within the patchy dense fog will be down to a quarter mile or less. Use caution if traveling this morning. Use low-beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
