Flood Watch issued May 12 at 9:49AM CDT until May 13 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas, Bell, Bosque, Comanche, Coryell, Dallas, Ellis, Erath, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan, Mills, Navarro, Rockwall and Somervell. In northeast Texas, Anderson, Henderson, Leon and Van Zandt. In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson. * WHEN...Through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 4 inches. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
